The Rob Stewart Sharkwater Foundation is committed to protecting sharks, our ecosystems and our oceans. Our Fin-Free and Shark Free campaigns bring awareness to issues facing sharks and oceans and inspire action. Rob believed that one person can make a difference and together we can bring positive change: “Conservation is the preservation of human life on earth. And that, above all else is worth fighting for.” Our mission is to create the tools required to engage others in educating our communities worldwide.

Favourite Rob Memory:
When I was 11 years old, our class watched Rob’s second film, “Revolution.” While watching and being mesmerized, I recognized the giant model shark being trailered in the movie because it had sat in the driveway of my neighbours’ house for years. I put the pieces together and realized that Rob lived just a few doors down from me all along. I wrote a letter to Rob to tell him how inspirational and moving his film was, and after dropping off my note, I was gifted with signed posters and books from Rob that I still hold near and dear to my heart. Rob is my hero and I am honoured that I can now help to continue his legacy.
